Tragedy that befell USA

The United States as a nation is involved in what they consider to be the "so called Leader of the Free World". Being a leader one has to exhibit certain qualities which the United States is not exhibiting at all.  In the international community the United States has resorted to all sorts or tactics which are illicit and illegal to continue to engage in other countries as well as remain relevant.

The United States one can say is operating on a "template-like" structure or behavior which cannot be utilized everywhere but insists on engaging and trying to implement or covertly implement its system abroad especially in "Third World or Developing Countries".  The situation should be of grave concern to member states in the international community or even "Nuclear Staes".  The super power states should be concerned of what is going on inside the United States as its domestic policy drives foreign policy.

While past presidents  Bill Clinton is out there overtly claiming that "there is a fair chance that the United States could lose its democratic system" one might have to ask what are they doing to maintain it and what does he actually mean by this?

The system which the United States utilizes, the system of government is not like any other and is not a system that any nation can adopt.  There are serious concerns  or questiond today about the manner in which the United States attained "hegemony" status and how it maintained this type of system in the international community.

Post World War II and during the cold war era the United States  intimidated  the "Third World" countries  or used various covert methods to intimidate and manipulate "third world" countries the geopolitically - this is very important and should be understood in order to be able to operate or deal with the United States today.  During this period most of the developing world was not involved in Geopolitics themselves, they had or were emerging from colonial rule and most of the individuals still were not politically aware or educated in terms of international relations as well as the role that political theory play understanding world politics and the role the United States played or how they played that role in maintaining their status even their view of these nations themselves.  As time went on the nations became independent new nations concerned about their own domestic issues their engagement in the various institutions were important but with "weak " representation and "ignorant" of the view the United States had of these nations, their people and leaders.  As can be seen David S. Painter's  "Explaining U.S. Relations with the Third World"  where he states that "US leaders believed the controlling access to the resources, markets, and labor of the third world was crucial to not only containing the Soviet Union but also the US leadership of the Western Alliance and the economic reconstruction of Western Europe and Japan."  This one can say that the United States still has not changed one bit their strategy to dealing with  the third world countries  as more countries became independent their view remained.

The "template-like" approach has resulted in quite a few illicit activities  are being "condoned" by the United States itsemlf - violating country's sovereign territories and citizens' rights which "weak states" are not able to counter them about. The use of these tactics against "weak states" havr resulted in clashes with these nations - third world countries nationalism - the right to sovereignty- to elect their own leaders and exercise their democratic rights - and "the only wars and conflicts since  1945 that have involved US military forces were in the Third World".

Based on the United States' behavior one can certainly say that this has been followed and the United States is using the same strategy to counter the other super power states in the international community even today. - which is distasteful, disgraceful as well as  showing a major weakness or flaw in its dealing with countries in the world today - fully sovereign states some of which Great Britain barred the United States from interacting with during their rebellious days against Great Britain are beginning to open up to US businesses today resulting in quite a few new problems  that the Inited States is experiencing but the countries thirst for economic growth keep them from recognizing the dangers.
