Life at North Seattle College - Hand drafting

This Fall 2020 I got to take TDR 113 - while pursuing my Architectural Engineering Drafting degree.  I am hoping to get this done and move on to complete the Architectural Design degree. My experience with Hand-drafting  while being offered online for the very first time was to say the lest a very interesting one.  I began wirh a lot of enthusiasm still ended with it but swiftly realizing that what I thought was isn't. One might ask what do I mean by the phrase "what I thought was, isn't".  It simply is that my expectation  was way out there.  For someone who had taken the AutoDESK  BIM(Building Information Modelling) series REVIT at North where technology is at play, I swiftly came to the realization that the architects and engineers who did the  zero google/technology learning style - are truly ARCHITECTS.   I am not one who into self deprecating but deals with reality :) I am eagerly looking forward to my grade for this class. Life at north

Welcome to my blog. While here I am going to be documenting my trek across Seattle, other areas of Washington State especially North Seattle College where I am an Architectural Engineering Drafting Student, aspiring Developer and Bridge designer. I will use this blog to write my views on various anything architectural or  buildings in Seattle and in Washington State. Since starting  at North Seattle College I began noticing the intrinsic details on the buildings in the area downtown Seattle and elsewhere.  I have also quickly realized that the designs of the buildings and construction methods have changed with introduction of modern technology. I will try to document in photos and videos as well as interviews when and if available with local architects and developers. You will get to  know about me at some point I am new to this blogging idea.  I am an architectural Engineering Drafting student. HAPPY READING JULIE
